Tre anni dopo
gli eventi narrati dal primo Battle Royale, il mondo degli adulti è minacciato da una nuova forma di terrorismo
adolescenziale. Shuya Nahnara, il “survivor” del precedente capitolo si è infatti promosso leader dei
Wild Seven, un gruppo di ragazzi ribelli e guerriglieri riunitisi in un'isola disabitata e ha dichiarato guerra a tutti
gli adulti (!!!). Adulti che ovviamente non stanno a guardare e a subire gli attentati terroristici, ma pensano bene di
proporre una controffensiva di pari livello: un esercito di “volontari” adolescenti pronti a sbarcare sul
territorio nemico, col compito di uccidere il leader dei Wild Seven. Come arruolare l’esercito? Semplice, si
modificano un pò le regole del vecchio Battle Royale e le si adattano alla situazione, ed ecco qui Battle Royale
2!
